fragile democracy,  the white house

Picture

The US is witnessing an attack on all aspects of our representative republic democracy, towards the federal branches of government but also at the state and local level. Norms and ‘Rule of law’ that guided our Constitution are being shredded, abused and manipulated. Our three equal branches of government are hanging by threads. We have few chances left to save our republic to stop anti-democratic developments like state gerrymandering, voter suppression, special interest lobbying and stopping foreign adversaries from damaging our institutions. Representing the Executive branch, The White House is a strong visual symbol of our strength and yet, it is teetering on the brink of destruction. How we vote in 2022 and in 2024 (if we are still able) will absolutely determine the future of our Republic.
